What can i do for depression during pregnancy?
Ever since my Fiancee left for AIT i’ve been uncontrollably sad. I cant get anything done because i cant seem to stop crying. I barely even get out of bed anymore. About 3 days ago i found out that he is being restarted and wont be home for another 6 weeks. He would be comming home on the 18th. Not now. I just dont know what to do anymore. I cant handle feeling like this.

Talk to your doctor and see what they recommend.
I’m bipolar and have had quite a bit of depression. There’s nothing you can really do. Your doctor MIGHT be willing to put you on an anti-anxiety medication. But that’s doubtful being pregnant. You can always do things for the baby and that will help you focus on the happier things. Start a baby box, paint the baby room, depending on how far along you are, you can even make a belly cast. There are vids on youtube to show you how and you can get the plaster wrap at any arts and craft store. But focusing on the happier things will take away from some of the more unhappy things. But unfortunately, it doesn’t get much better
Speak with your obstetrician promptly. He/she will be able to provide the help you need. Also, call your girlfriends and tell them it’s time to rally round their pregnant friend. Take you out, come and sit with you, etc., etc.
Hi. so sorry to hear about how ur feeling…
You def need to be speaking to people about how your feeling. Be it Family Friends G.P or complete strangers on the net….
Hope you feel better soon.. But keep talking thats the way forwards

i know how you feel, my bf just left for boot camp, 8 weeks long. what helps me, is try to keep yourself occupied. if you sit and think about it, it will only get worse. you should be able to think about him, and know that everything will be okay, and you will see him soon enough. it will come before you know it. go out with friends. watch some movies. one day i watched 4 movies in a row.. it makes you feel lazy but atleast it takes your mind off of it. just occupy your life. he will be home again. promise =]
Go for walks. Make some goals — small ones, that you can achieve. Just a start to get you out of the funk. Be around people and talk. Even if you have to force yourself.
