Answer by ♥w.w.j.d
If u haven’t had sex, you more than likely aren’t pregnant. But if you are worried because you’ve done other sexual acts possibly leading to pregnancy, then take a test.

If pregnancy test is negative then visit your Dr and discuss your symptoms.

Heartburn is a common problem for many pregnant women. It tends to mostly occur in early pregnancy although some women suffer from it for most of their term.
Heartburn begins as a burning pain behind the breastbone and it then usually radiates upward to the neck. There is often a sensation of food coming back into the mouth and is accompanied by a sour or bitter taste in the mouth.

Many patients who are suffering from this condition or Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) want to know the best way how to get rid of their disease for good. Not just manage but say goodbye to it. I’m sure you know by now that acid and reflux is not a simple thing to deal with – and if left alone or not immediately treated can easily worsen and lead to further complications (e.g. esophagitis; Barrett’s esophagus; esophageal cancer).

People frequently refer to acid and reflux disease as heartburn. The word is a misnomer. The acid and reflux condition has nothing to do with the heart we only mistake it as a burning of the heart area because of the proximity of the esophagus to the heart. If this condition occurs too often you should consult a doctor for guidance.

The first step to serious acid and reflux treatment is the resolution to change your lifestyle. Keep reading for more information today.

Tired of waking up with that horrible taste in your mouth? Worried about the dire consequences of doing nothing? Are you looking for an acid and reflux cure that doesn’t involve taking a pill every day for the rest of your life? It’s time you got rid of your acid and reflux forever by getting to the root of the problem.

I lost my virginity about 5 days ago, and a couple of days later I had cramping. He wasn’t wearing a condom a couple of times, but he was the other times, and he didn’t ejaculate in me (also he said that he’s sterile). I’ve been having hot flashes today. Is it most likely tiredness, anxiety, or pregnancy? When can I take a pregnancy test if I usually get my period around the 12th?
I’m kind of nauseated, too.
Could it be signs of an STD?

Question by angel_sylith: missed period. When does pregnancy symptoms start to show?
I’m usually irregular with my period. Sometimes it comes on day 25-35, sometimes as long as day 40-50. My last period took around 50-54 days before I had it. Now I’m on day 56 since my last period.

I’m counting from first day of my last period, which was April 17.
I’m a student, 25 years old, I usually drink alcohol in moderate amounts and caffeine daily (1-2 cups). I’ve been drinking more than usual around 4 weeks ago as I was on vacation and had to change timezones twice in a 2 week time span.
My boyfriend is way older and he’s had a vasectomy a few years ago. I’ve heard cases of some women getting pregnant despite their bf/husband having a vasectomy. I also took plan b around February when I started going out with my boyfriend. I didn’t know he had a vasectomy so out of panic I took the pill. I had my period a week after I took it then missed my period for the whole month of March. I got it back April 17 and haven’t got my period ever since.
I’m just worried I don’t have my period yet. I’m not even getting cramps (and I usually do before my period). My discharges have been unusual too (sticky to watery etc…sorry for the excess info) but in usual amounts so I can’t tell if I’m ovulating or done with it. I don’t have clear pregnancy symptoms either…but I have been getting some mild lower back pain, some bloating and mild nausea sometimes, and some dizziness but could be from acidity, anxiety, anemia or hopefully PMS…my boobs are not sore either so I can’t really tell.
I took a test every week starting May 19. all four tests came out negative. Yesterday The doctor gave me another urine test, which came out negative and said i should wait it out some more.

What are the odds that I could be pregnant? If i were shouldnt the symptoms show by now? Could this be because of Plan B? I heard those things mess up your cycles badly. Could my anxiety over pregnancy cause a drastic delay?

Best answer:

Answer by Alexandra
Since your boyfriend had a vasectomy and you have taken Plan B, it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant. Your period probably hasn’t come because you are worried about being pregnant, and the stress of it all is causing it to come late. Mine comes late when I have times of extreme stress as well. Plan B can cause your period to come late and the symptoms you are experiencing are similar to stress symptoms. If you are still really worried, though, talk to your doctor and/or a gynecologist and they should be able to clear your pregnancy worries.

Menopause is the most natural consequence of aging in women with a permanent end to the menstrual cycle. This causes a lot of hormonal imbalances posing enough botherations for women in the form of hot flushes, night sweats, mood fluctuations and low libido. Menozac is one of the popular menopause supplements that provide a natural approach to overcome the menopausal symptoms. In menopausal phase, very low levels of estrogen and progesterone cause a lot of physiological problems that need to be treated with patience.

Menozac is very effective in providing a relief from these bothering symptoms of menopause. Many prefer Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), which may cause adverse effects on the health. Moreover, women suffering from chronic hypertension or other diseases may not be suitable for this type of treatment. Menozac, on the other hand being a natural and effective menopause supplement has an upper edge compared to other types of medication. Weight gain and change of appetite also accompanies menopause, which can be tackled effectively with the natural menopause supplements.

Menozac comprises of the pure and essential herbal ingredients widely used to treat various symptoms of menopause. This is regarded as the best of all menopause supplements due to the unique combination of Soy seeds, roots of Black Cohosh, Damania leaves and Vitamin E. Intake of Soyabeans and Soy products are widely prescribed by doctors as these are rich in Phytoestrogens that resemble the functions of estrogen hormone. This is a sort of hormone replacement through a natural product without causing any health hazards.

Vitamin E takes care of the skin and controls other menopausal symptoms like vaginal dryness and urinary problems. It is also helpful in preventing certain types of cancer that occurs in menopausal women. Roots of Black Cohosh treat mood fluctuations, reduce the intensity of hot flashes and promote sound sleep. Damania leaves heighten the libido and helps in overcoming anxieties and depression.

Menozac has been the first choice for women as this menopause supplement has almost replaced the much popular Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Women can use this menopause supplement without any apprehension due to its natural constituents.

Menopause cannot draw an end to all joyous events of life, and women need to adopt a positive attitude along with a healthy lifestyle. Women can enjoy their sexual life through this natural supplement Menozac without any fear of pregnancy. Mild physical work outs, healthy diet along with Menozac can instill a new life in the post menopausal women.

Although pregnancy depression has always existed, it is only in recent years that it has been acknowledged as a medical problem, and that women have been allowed to talk about it without shame. Many women will suffer from some level of depression during their pregnancy. In some, it can become a very serious problem.

If signs of depression are ruining what should be a happy and wonderful time in your life, do not hesitate to talk to your doctor. Help is available, and keeping yourself happy and mentally healthy is just as important to your baby as your physical well-being.

There are some major risk factors that may predispose a woman to depression. When deciding when to get pregnant, it’s a good idea to avoid very stressful times in your life, such as financial problems, major life changes, and relationship issues. These can all be risk factors for depression. Other common risk factors in pregnant women are a history of infertility, previous miscarriages, and a history of depression prior to pregnancy.

From the time you experience the first signs of being pregnant, you may also see some signs of depression. It can occur at any point in your pregnancy. As hormones fluctuate throughout the three pregnancy stages, depression may come and go.

Symptoms of depression include feelings of sadness or hopelessness, extreme fatigue, changes in sleeping and eating patterns, long periods of crying, irritability or moodiness, and difficulty concentrating. If any of these symptoms sound familiar to you, it is possible you are suffering from pregnancy depression and not just normal pregnancy mood swings.

Remember, getting help is the best thing you can do for yourself and your baby.

Question by David: What symptoms of anxiety are related to pregnancy?
Please, I really need help with this. Me and my girlfriend had sex and we think she might be pregnant. We’re going in to take a blood test on Monday, but I just really need to know what kind of anxiety symptoms are related to pregnancy! I’ll give best answer to whoever helps the most.

Best answer:

Answer by Sunny
Pregnancy is a time of great joy and anticipation. Many mothers-to-be, especially first time moms, wonder about the upcoming addition to their family. She may worry about whether she will be a good mother, whether the baby will be healthy, whether the pregnancy will be normal. For most, these questions do not cause undue concern, but for mothers-to-be who have anxiety disorder, these questions, along with hormonal fluctuations, can create and increase anxiety symptoms.

Interestingly, women with panic attacks often experience a decrease in panic symptoms during pregnancy. The hormones oxytocin and prolactin are manufactured during pregnancy and can contribute to the lessening of panic disorder symptoms. According to anxietycure.org, 40% of women with anxiety experience a lessening of anxiety symptoms during pregnancy.

Women with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) may see an increase in symptoms during pregnancy. It is thought that the increase of androgen hormones during pregnancy may be the cause of increasing symptoms of OCD.

Hormonal changes are gradual during pregnancy and therefore, anxiety symptoms can either increase or decrease over several months. However, once the pregnancy is completed, hormone levels significantly decrease immediately. This is the cause of both postpartum depression and increased anxiety symptoms.

The good news is that anxiety medications are relatively safe to both the mother and the baby. Women experiencing anxiety symptoms should discuss the possibility of medication with their doctor.

Taking time during pregnancy to do activities you find relaxing and enjoyable can also help. Exercise has also been found to help reduce symptoms of anxiety, however, you should talk with your doctor before beginning any exercise program.

Other treatments for anxiety, such as therapy and self help strategies including deep breathing or meditation can be helpful in relieving symptoms during pregnancy.

Answer by Live and let live
for goodness sake take a pregnancy test. if it is negative, talk to a dr. depression could be caused by different things. a dr needs to help you figure out the cause. not someone online. there is no price you can put on your health. don’t play around get help

Most women don’t face much complication throughout their pregnancy period though some might have to face few difficulties. Most women experience mood swings, fear and anxiety throughout their pregnancy period. Pregnancy is the time filled with anticipation, happiness and excitement. Most women start experiencing symptoms within a week and some others might experience after few weeks of conception.

Pregnancy lasts for 40 weeks or nine months which is divided into three trimesters. Pregnancy is counted from the first day of woman’s last period. The signs and symptoms of pregnancy vary in intensity, duration and frequency from woman to woman.
The early signs of pregnancy are as follows:

1. Missed period

2. Breast tenderness

3. Fatigue

4. Frequent urination

Get a physical.

Before spending a year trying to get pregnant, it’s a good idea to have a thorough physical examination, according to Sanford M. Markham, M.D., an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. “Make sure that there aren’t any physical problems, such as masses or cysts in the pelvic area,” he says. “Your doctor should also treat any low-grade vaginal infections that you might have. He or she should also check for sexually transmitted diseases.” Other conditions that can interfere with pregnancy are ovarian cysts, fibroids, and endometriosis, an inflammation of the lining of the uterus, Markham says.

Have sex around the time of ovulation.

The woman’s egg is capable of being fertilized for only 24 hours after it is released from the ovary, according to Richard J. Paulson, M.D., an associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology and director of the In Vitro Fertilization Program at the University of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles. The man’s sperm can live for between 48 and 72 hours in the woman’s reproductive tract. Since sperm and egg must come together for an embryo to be created, a couple must try to have sex at least every 72 hours around the time of ovulation (see Extra! Extra! – “Methods of Ovulation Prediction”) in order to hit the mark, Paulson says. “Every 48 hours is even better,” he says. However, he adds, the man should not ejaculate more frequently than once in 48 hours, since that may bring his sperm count down too low for fertilization.

Men should ejaculate every two to three days.

Along with the advice to have sex no more often than once every 48 hours, men should also try to ejaculate at least once every two to three days throughout the month, says Bergh. Men need to keep ejaculating to keep up their sperm supply, he adds.
Maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The best way to enhance your chances of getting pregnant is to maintain an all-around healthy lifestyle. This goes for both men and women, says William C. Andrews, M.D., executive director of the American Fertility Society and professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. “A healthy lifestyle will also help ensure the quality of your offspring,” Andrews says.

Try to eliminate stress.

“There is little doubt that severe stress will interfere with reproductive function,” says Paulson. “At the simplest level, stress will take away your libido. At the extreme, the woman may stop menstruating. Although studies in men are lacking, it is quite likely that a similar effect may occur.”

Keep the testicles cool.

Exposure to extreme heat can be the death of sperm–literally. (That’s why the testicles are outside of the body–to keep them cool.) Bergh’s advice for maintaining the proper temperature is to wear boxer shorts (if you find them comfortable) and to avoid hot tubs and whirlpools. Taxicab and truck drivers will benefit from the use of a beaded seat mat that allows air to circulate. “There was an old Indian fertility ritual where the men used to dip their testicles in cold water,” says Bergh. “They had the right idea.” Varicose veins in the testicles can also interfere with temperature regulation. If you have these, see a urologist, Bergh suggests.

That and there’s like a small cramping feeling I get when I pee, and I went to the Dr. and they said it wasn’t a bladder infection or UTI or anything. But I forgot to ask them for a blood test. Also my anxiety level has gone up a bit.

I was just wondering if anyone who is or has been pregnant has had symptoms similar to this, or if anyone might know what it mean.

Thanx in advance!

first i had swollen breast, which i usually get swollen breast before my period but this time it just felt different. about a week later i started to feel nauseated, short of breath(kind of felt like anxiety), one day i had to leave work to change my panties because they were pretty wet of clear low odor discharge(sorry to sound so gross), light light headaches, lower back pain. one time i drank some water that kind of had a metallic taste which i read could be a sign of pregnancy. i was suppose to start my period around the 12th or 13th but did not, on the 15th i had light spotting in the morning, mostly light brown in color and then today on the 16th i wake up again with spotting but it is heavier than yesterday and sometimes it is red just like a regular period. could i be pregnant or could it all be in my head? my boyfriend had me take 2 test on the 11th but both were negative so he kind of thinks i am just exaggerating or even just stressing and it is resulting in my late period.

Pregnancy symptoms are the first indicators that the stork is on its way bringing you a bundle of joy to care for and cherish. When you are planning on getting pregnant you will be eagerly watching out for the early signs of pregnancy.

Early Pregnancy Symptoms

The first sign of pregnancy is a missed period. With the hectic lifestyles that we all lead today most women may miss the other early indicators of an impending pregnancy and may become alert only after missing their monthly period.

The other fairly common pregnancy symptoms includes sore, swollen, tender breasts. The nipples may also feel sore, they may darken in color and in some cases colostrum may also get secreted. Implantation spotting is also one of the first signs of pregnancy.

Early pregnancy symptoms include excessive fatigue and sleepiness. This is said to be due to the excessive hormones produced making it hard for the expectant mother to get out of bed in the morning as well as to stay awake late at nights. Daily activities such as shopping or doing household chores may leave them feeling completely exhausted.

Morning sickness is one of the dreaded early signs of pregnancy. Some expectant women are lucky and escape this torture but some unlucky women may end up feeling nauseous all day long. If a woman vomits excessively she may need to take extra precautions to prevent complications due to malnutrition and dehydration. This symptom is closely associated with an increased awareness and aversion to odors. Pregnant women may also exhibit unusual food craving and even develop an aversion to certain foods that they normally enjoyed earlier. For some of the women the aversion to certain foods may continue even after the pregnancy!

Pregnancy symptoms such as fainting, dizziness, heartburn and constipation are also common. It is necessary that the expectant women eat frequent small meals and take supplements of vitamins, folic acid and calcium. Diet must include generous helpings of fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables, sprouts etc. A well planned diet can greatly help women suffering from heartburn and constipation.

Pregnancy symptoms also include higher body temperature, lower back pain, mood swings, depression, frequent urination and weight gain. Vaginal discharge that does not itch, burn or smell is another symptom of pregnancy. When you suffer from any or all of these symptoms it may be time you took a home pregnancy test. Stop worrying about weight gain and make sure that your diet is nutritious. Adopt a healthy lifestyle, do not smoke, drink and at all costs avoid drugs. It will be better to take up over the counter medication after consulting your healthcare practitioner. Do mild recommended exercise, practice relaxation techniques such as meditation and yoga and pave the way to a health and happy pregnancy. Watch out for the pregnancy symptoms and maintain a positive frame of mind.

Pregnancy miscarriage is the traumatic end of a pregnancy. It marks the natural or spontaneous end of a pregnancy at a stage where the embryo or the fetus is not capable of surviving. Most expectant mothers seem to get panicky about this mishap during the course of pregnancy. As per medical experts, miscarriages can take place in the first trimester or the first twelve weeks of pregnancy. The period starting from 12 weeks to 28 weeks of pregnancy are the most risk prone. Therefore, pregnant women must be familiar of the symptoms and the causes of miscarriage and be on the alert all the time.

Causes And Symptoms Of Pregnancy

Basically the baby’s failure to be developed in the uterus marks pregnancy miscarriage. Sometimes miscarriages can take place without the pregnant woman even coming to know that she was pregnant. Usually, the bleeding secreted from the vagina is one of the most common and prominent indicators of miscarriage. If you are pregnant and display this symptom, call your physician immediately. You must hurry and call your doctor to prevent losing your baby. Medical experts suggest if a pregnant woman shows vaginal bleeding, she must lie down to protect her pregnancy from coming to an end.

Medical professionals plan measures on the basis of the period of pregnancy in which the vaginal bleeding takes place. If the bleeding appears anytime after 28 weeks, then it will not necessarily be a signal of pregnancy miscarriage. Bleeding after 28 weeks may signal complications in the placenta. The placenta is considered to be the ‘lifeline’ of your baby growing inside, so if there are any risks related to placenta that is apparent through vaginal bleeding, you must contact your doctor at the earliest and get yourself admitted to the hospital. The doctors may carry out ultrasound to determine the position of placenta. You may be retained in the hospital for giving birth. Often the patients undergo blood transfusion to make up for loss of blood and the babies are delivered by either induction or the caesarean method.

How To Prevent Pregnancy Miscarriage?

Consult with your doctor to find ways to save your babies from succumbing to pregnancy miscarriage. Most of the doctors instruct patients to take adequate bed rest for a few days to stop bleeding. Call for another pregnancy test or ultrasound to confirm you are still at a safe distance from risk of miscarriage. You should always place yourself under keen observation so as to detect that the pregnancy is advancing normally and there is no abnormality in the baby’s development.

As long as the vaginal bleeding is experienced as mild and painless, there is little risk of pregnancy miscarriage involved. When you find the bleeding to be heavy and terribly hurting, then it marks pregnancy miscarriage. Painful vaginal bleeding indicates that the baby has stopped developing. Consult your doctor to clean out your womb in such a case. Such miscarriages can immensely affect the woman’s mental health and can push her towards depression. It is up to her spouse and family members to give her adequate attention and care to overcome the loss of baby.

Pregnancy miscarriage is a severe complication which terminates the pregnancy in a premature way because any trauma, accident or pregnancy complications. Be very careful about miscarriage symptoms such as unusual bleeding after you test positive in a pregnancy test. If you experience any unusual symptoms, please consult your pregnancy doctor immediately who would with the help of an ultrasound and other examination rule out any such possibility. Pregnancy Articles offers more information and free articles about all aspects of pregnancy and women’s issues.

The development of your baby –
The amniotic fluid which surrounds your growing baby in the uterus to help cushion it and keep it protected from external damage now grows another purpose. The intestines are well developed, developed enough to absorb little amounts of sugar from this amniotic fluid that will be swallowed and passed through the digestive system to the bowel eventually. However most of the baby’s nourishment is still provided by the placenta. Till about his time, your baby’s spleen and liver were producing the blood cells needed by its body but now the spaces in the bone marrow are enough to function likely. Soon, the bone marrow will be largely responsible for producing blood cells in the baby’s body. During the third trimester and post birth, the bone marrow becomes the chief center of blood production. The spleen won’t perform this function by the thirtieth week while the liver will stop producing blood till a few weeks before the child is born.

The development of your body –
You would feel the need to exercise in order to relieve yourself the stress and anxiety you might be experiencing at this point of your pregnancy. But maybe you are thinking if it is safe to exercise or no? Let us tell you how incredible exercising can prove to be to help keep you in shape during pregnancy when your hormones are most turbulent and you know not how they will act. Symptoms like excessive weight gain, varicose veins and aches in your body can be avoided with only the help of exercise. However remember to keep it slow and this is definitely not the time for you to start running a marathon. Ligaments tend to relax and flex during pregnancy hence you have a higher chance to injure yourself. So indulge in exercises that are not very strenuous. These would be yoga, swimming, walking and the like – brisk yet gentle. While you are pregnant it is best to discuss with your medical expert what stage of pregnancy you are in and what kind of exercise to indulge in to help smoothen things out for the best.

I kept feeling a light feeling in my stomach, kind of like a weird butterfly feeling but I don’t know if it’s anxiety. I was having cramps earlier, too. I lost my virginity 9 days ago. He didn’t use a condom, but he said he was sterile. He also said he didn’t ejaculate in me, but I thought I might have felt him doing that (I was drunk). Anyway, would I be having symptoms this many days after sex? I usually get my period around the 11th. I got really drunk Friday night and had my first hangover on Saturday, so am I dehydrated? Why do I feel so bad? I had been having hot flashes before I got drunk, I think. I have an anxiety disorder already.
We had sex again 4 days ago. Each time we had sex, we did it a couple of times or more.

Research shows that depression runs in families and that some people inherit genes that make it more likely for them to get depressed. Not everyone who has the genetic makeup for depression gets depressed, though. And many people who have no family history of depression have the condition. So although genes are one factor, they aren’t the single cause of depression.

The effect of maternal-fetal stress on depression is currently an exciting area of research. It seems that maternal stress during pregnancy can increase the chance that the child will be prone to depression as an adult, particularly if there is a genetic vulnerability. It is thought that the mother’s circulating stress hormones can influence the development of the fetus’ brain during pregnancy. This altered fetal brain development occurs in ways that predispose the child to the risk of depression as an adult. Further research is still necessary to clarify how this happens.

Symptoms of Depression

A bleak outlook—nothing will ever get better and there’s nothing you can do to improve your situation.

You may have physical aches and pains which appear to have no physical cause, such as back pain.

Strong feelings of worthlessness or guilt. Harsh criticism of perceived faults and mistakes.

Problems sleeping, especially in the early morning, or wanting to sleep all of the time

You spend a lot of time thinking about what has gone wrong, what will go wrong or what is wrong about yourself as a person. You may also feel guilty sometimes about being critical of others (or even thinking critically about them).

Feeling sad or “down” for a few days is not the same as exhibiting symptoms of depression. A clinical case of depression symptoms as outlined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental.

Having a poor appetite, no interest in food and losing weight (though some people overeat and put on weight – ‘comfort eating’).

Thinking about suicide – this is very common. If you feel this way, talk to somebody about it. If you think somebody else might be thinking this way, ask them about it – IT WILL NOT MAKE THEM MORE LIKELY TO COMMIT SUICIDE.

Significant changes in weight when not attempting to gain or lose (a gain or loss of 5% or more in a month) may be indicative of depression. In children, this may also present as a failure to make expected weight gains.

Causes of Depression

Biochemical: Some evidence from high-tech imaging studies indicates that people with depression have physical changes in their brains. The significance of these changes is still uncertain but may eventually help pinpoint causes. The naturally occurring brain chemicals called neurotransmitters, which are linked to mood, also may play a role in depression. Hormonal imbalances also could be a culprit.

Depression can be linked to events in your life, such as the death of someone you love, a divorce or job loss. Taking certain medicines, abusing drugs or alcohol, or having other illnesses can also lead to depression. Depression isn’t caused by personal weakness, laziness or lack of willpower.

Certain environmental situations, such as stress or breakup of important attachments, also may precipitate depression, especially in vulnerable persons.

Genes. Some studies show that depression is more common in people whose biological family members also have the condition. Researchers are trying to find genes that may be involved in causing depression.

It hampers the social, personal and professional life of women. Women tend to suffer from depression twice as more as their men counterpart. These kind of depressions are a great risk to the mental health, especially among young women. It mainly happens in women as they are in general more emotional than their male counterpart.
There are several symptoms which can predict whether a woman is under depression or not. When depressed she does not find any interest in activities she enjoyed before. She starts blaming herself for everything and can also have suicidal tendencies. She may feel unwanted.

Depression is usually accompanied with disturbed sleep, change in diet, low concentration and difficulty decision making, impatience and irritation and weakness.

Causes of depression

Women generally suffer from similar kind of depressions. Some of them are explained by the experts as psychological, biological, social causes:

Biological causes include the problem of premenstrual problem such as itchiness, bloating, weakness etc which disturbs their lives. Problem of pregnancy and unproductiveness, issues like unwanted pregnancy, or miscarriage can lead to depression. Some women suffer from the postpartum depression when they experience baby blues.

Various treatments are available for depressions, which include Antidepressant medications, Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), Psychotherapy.

Women should consult a doctor about the cause of their depression. Birth control medicines and hormone substitution therapy are also very effective in solving your biological problems.

Interpersonal therapy and cognitive-behavior therapy are really effective in improving personal relationship and making them healthy. This reduces the creation of negative thoughts in your mind.

Women suffering from depression must try and be practical. Don’t let negative thoughts come to the mind and make sue you get proper treatment. Go for physical examinations. Make sure you exercise regularly as exercise is the best medicine for your depression.

I am 8 days late for my period. This is my first month off of nuvaring and in the past have had a normal cycle for the first month after going off birth control after that my cycle is very irregular 30-90 days between. I have had breast tenderness and had cramping with extremely mild staining last week when I otherwise should have been on my period – staining amounted to very little red blood coloredness in my mucus upon wiping. I have had four negative tests in the last 5 days, however symptoms persist – breast tenderness and cramping off and on. I should add that I am not trying to concieve as my husband had a vasectomy the end of last week and I went off nuvaring one month early because I have had difficulty in the past getting pregnant, don’t have sex often, twice this month – once early on, once later 11 days ago – , required clomid for both of my pregnancies – if this ain’t karma, I don’t know what is! I have read that I should wait at least 19 days after last sex before expecting a reliable test answer, however the anxiety is killing me! Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated – while I’m not trying to get pregnant it wouldn’t be the end of the world if I was, it’s just the waiting to know which way I am sux!

This is a article from a personal experience relating a subject matter that isn’t often discussed which has caused a lack of understanding

Panic attack forums are a good place to seek for guidance and self-help apart from continuing with regular medical treatment. Panic attacks must not be taken lightly. In fact if you have one panic attack per week then it is crucial that you consult a doctor immediately otherwise it might develop into an anxiety or panic disorder. Though panic attacks remain a mystery the physical symptoms accompanying them are too painfully clear. People who suffer from panic attacks complain of palpitations shortness of breath nausea dizziness confusion lack of coordination and so on. This is not a rare problem and many victims often discuss problems and possible solutions on the many panic attack forums on the Internet

Panic attacks occur when the anxiety levels soar beyond the tolerable limits resulting in pulsating heart beat nervousness dizziness lack of breath sweating etc. Medications can never be used to treat them as they just offer a temporary mild relief from the physical symptoms and do not treat the root cause.
