Question by Sarah: Pregnancy safe ways to calm anxiety on an airplane?
I have a horrible fear of flying. Usually, everytime I fly I take some Xanax to calm my nerves. That is really the only way I can fly without having an increased heart rate, sweaty palms, shaking, etc. I have to fly for Thanksgiving. I wil be 13 1/2 weeks when I fly. Does anyone know of any ways I can calm my anxiety while flying that is safe for pregnancy? I know it’s not healthy to be that nervous while I am pregnant and really want to do something to ease my anxiety. Thanks.

Alleviate Pain Due to Pregnancy Faster

Article by Bill Brainbert

In the past 9 years, I have had 3 normal pregnancies and healthy children. While the pregnancies were all normal and complication-free, I had all the different feelings going through both my mind and body. Between muscle and joint pain, there is also weight gain (in my case, this was quite substantial) causing physical discomfort. I never considered that there was any way of gaining some relief. I now know there is! It is a pregnancy massage. I recently discovered (maybe too late for me) that this is an option when pregnant, in most circumstances.

During pregnancy, we have normal feelings of stress, anxiety, even anxiety, as well as happiness and anticipation. Knowing there is a human being growing within us, we try extra hard to take care of ourselves, as well as the baby. However, some of these feelings can be relieved by a wonderful massage.

Pregnancy, Vacation Anxiety and also you!

Article by CheKon tol10

The season of joy can indeed be joyous, but for many people today it also implies cramming huge amounts of activity into a tiny quantity of time. Though Holiday gift shopping and business and social celebrations are fun, they arrive using the need to prepare significant meals, cope with relatives and in-laws, worry concerning the cost of new clothes and additional food, end of year taxes, finances in common, bonus anxiety and also job security. This sort of pressure can bring on huge quantities of anxiety and will drive you nuts (not the warm chestnut kind) incredibly rapidly in the event you let it.

For mothers-to-be, how does all of this stress impact her pregnancy? Can maternal psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, and anxiety adversely affect the baby when pregnant during the holiday season? Pregnancy is supposed to be a time of joy and happiness for women. It is something that most women who haven’t yet experienced it, look forward to with awe – some with dread. It is an experience that cannot be aptly described using words; it simply should be experienced to understand it. Unfortunately it also comes with more than its fair share of travails. One of those travails happen to be pregnancy constipation – an uncomfortable, and often time, unbearable condition that plagues many pregnant women in the world today. This article will look at three natural ways to remedy pregnancy constipation beginning today…

1. Increase Your Ingestion Of Fibre…Food that contain high quantities of fibre are great to eat during your pregnancy. An example of such a snack would be oatmeal cookies. These are very effective in the eradication of constipation. In fact oatmeal cookies have also been known to help alleviate pregnancy anxiety and panic attacks. So, instead of eating all that fast “junk” food, or all those funky “movie snack”, go for foods that are rich in nutrients like these. You should also form the habit of taking a lot of fruits too like; apples, bananas and so on. While this may sound simple to some, you must realize that as humans we are more prone to defaulting on the simple stuff.

While Depression affects approximately sixteen percent of people in most developed countries, a surprising thirty percent of all women suffer from the symptoms of clinical depression. This is believed to be induced by the different hormonal changes women experience throughout their lives. There are many ways to cope with depression. While some people are satisfied with counseling and therapy others find it helpful seeking prescription drugs. Among one of the most commonly distributed antidepressants is Paxil.

Introduced and manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline in 1992, Paxil is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor. It works by balancing serotonin, a neurotransmitter that affects certain moods in people.
