Some women get pregnant so easily that even before facing the altar, the bride is already “infanticipating.” However, when a newly-wed bride doesn’t show signs of a growing tummy due to pregnancy after nine months or less, people start to speculate and wonder why. This may bring concern to the newly-wed couple, especially when after getting fertility tests, doctors may not find anything wrong with any of them. Difficulty in the process of getting pregnant can be a source of anxiety for healthy couples experiencing delays in conception. And when the reason for the delay is unknown, such feelings of anxiety can become even more aggravated. Unexplained infertility can be a frustrating diagnosis but it doesn’t necessarily mean that there is no longer a possibility of getting pregnant. Though the diagnosis is quite vague, there are still other options available that can help increase your chances of getting pregnant. Unexplained infertility is more of a situation rather than a condition. A fertility specialist or health care provider may not be able to find a medical explanation as to why there is difficulty getting pregnant. It is possible that there is nothing physically preventing the woman from getting pregnant. It is also possible that the doctors simply don’t know the reason what prevents pregnancy from happening.
Possible Causes of Unexplained Infertility Causes of unexplained infertility are not known that is why it is called as such. However, the following factors have been found to play a role causing difficulties and delays in pregnancy:

Question by Pink Cupcake: Panic Attacks During Pregnancy Help?
Hey. Any one who has been through this have any advice? I have severe anxiety, and I have a lot of panic attacks lately. the pregnancy is making me more hormonal. I am 6 months pregnant. and every day I stay home with my one year old daughter and baby sit for a new born, so I have lots of stress in my life right now. and i’m so tired all the time. I hate having panic attacks. I wish there was something I could do. my pychiatrist had put me on seroquel, but i don’t think it really helps that much, except just makes me more tired, which isn’t good for watching kids. is there anything else they could give me during pregnancy for anxiety that would be safe? thanks.
I went to my ob recently, and he told me that since i’m in my 2nd trimester now, xanax, or adovan would be safe to take now. he said i’m past the part of the pregnancy that they would cause any birth defects. anyone been on either one of these in the 2nd or 3rd trimester.

Question by Name: Pregnancy symptoms 5 days after sex?
I lost my virginity about 5 days ago, and a couple of days later I had cramping. He wasn’t wearing a condom a couple of times, but he was the other times, and he didn’t ejaculate in me (also he said that he’s sterile). I’ve been having hot flashes today. Is it most likely tiredness, anxiety, or pregnancy? When can I take a pregnancy test if I usually get my period around the 12th?
I’m kind of nauseated, too.
Could it be signs of an STD?

Question by a: Can Pregnancy help anxiety disorders?
have been diagnosed with general anxiety disorder and have been on meds. (lexapro) for a few years now. The meds. seemed to be helping me for a couple of year but I noticed when I first became pregnant with my daughter about 2 years ago that during my 2nd trimester and throughout my pregnancy my anxiety got better. By the end of my first pregnancy my neck tension and panic attacks totally disappeared (and I have anxiety pretty bad). When I was postpartum I noticed within a few days after giving birth my anxiety came back full force and slightly worse than before I had became pregnant.
Shortly after I had my daughter almost 3 months after I had her I became pregnant again with my son. I am recently still recovering from having him only a couple months ago and noticed as soon as I had him that my anxiety came back. When I was in the hospital recovering my anxiety reached its worse and now that its been a couple months later I noticed my neck tension coming back extremely bad and my anxiety has worsened. I went back on my lexapro after having quit it completely when I was pregnant with my son but it seems to not be helping at all…my psychiatrist prescribed me a muscle relaxer and it still doesn’t seem to be helping with my neck tension and even though I’ve uped the dosage of my lexapro my anxiety is still horrible…=(

Question by rara: Sisterly love pregnancy argument?
THIS IS VERYYYYY LONG:
In 2008 I had a still birth. My sister was 12 at the time and it was very hard for her. She was involved in that pregnancy and went to her nephews service the whole shebang.
My sister has so mental disorders ( anxiety PTSD depression extrem bipolar ecxt) for about 2 years she has been living at an intensive care residential treatment program. (not due to her nephew ) I found out I was pregnant again in may right before her birthday. I chose not to tell her was hoping to wait until I knew the gender and to wait until I knew what if any complications could occur due to last pregnancy. My sister has alot on her plate on a daily basis she’s always stressed and I didn’t want to increase it by her having to worrie about her Neice or nephews health. I’m only 10 weeks now, and she was getting suspicious so I had to tell her and now she is livid.

How great to be pregnant! It’s a time of joys and challenges. There are so many aches and pains, such discomfort. Though we are gaining weight, have muscle and joint pain, we are elated. What can we possibly do to alleviate this? I recently heard about pregnancy massage. What a luxury! During my pregnancies, I wish I had heard of this. In most circumstances, pregnancy massages can be a great relief and comfort.
All the normal feelings of stress and anxiety come to the forefront upon realization that there is now a new human being growing inside, and this child is a huge priority. There is joy and anticipation that goes along with these feelings. Often we can benefit from a pregnancy massage, just as we can benefit from a massage when not pregnant.

Depression has been proved to be more common with the women. For whatever reason women have always been the victims of depression. A woman has to go through a number of important physical and mental changes. She also has to tackle the gender stereotypes that can be really pinching. She has the additional responsibilities of her home along with her career. All these factors tend to be a burden on her shoulders and they make themselves apparent sometimes in the form of depression. The past of a person also comes back to haunt in the form of depression. A woman often gets into depression because of a haunting or troublesome past.
Motherhood is a very important transition in a woman’s life and it won’t be exactly wrong to say that most women look forward to this phase. It is a happening that make a women complete though this line sounds a bit archaic. However, bearing a baby and bringing it up is easier said than done. The responsibility, the physical strains, the pain all can bog down the woman easily and the whole process of bearing the baby might get into one with pains. Pregnancy is one of the most important phases of a woman’s life and unfortunately sometimes in this phase a woman gets caught in the web of depression. Though depression during pregnancy is not uncommon, it can be dangerous for both the mother and the unborn baby. It becomes more difficult to cure depression in pregnancy because of the fact that antidepressants can’t be easily prescribed to a pregnant lady because they can have unfavorable effects on the baby as well as the mother, besides there are no antidepressants without side effects. And it is also not safe to leave the woman depressed with a baby in her anatomy. A way out is very important as a depressed mother is not good for the baby to be born.

Question by angel_sylith: missed period. When does pregnancy symptoms start to show?
I’m usually irregular with my period. Sometimes it comes on day 25-35, sometimes as long as day 40-50. My last period took around 50-54 days before I had it. Now I’m on day 56 since my last period.
I’m counting from first day of my last period, which was April 17.
I’m a student, 25 years old, I usually drink alcohol in moderate amounts and caffeine daily (1-2 cups). I’ve been drinking more than usual around 4 weeks ago as I was on vacation and had to change timezones twice in a 2 week time span.
My boyfriend is way older and he’s had a vasectomy a few years ago. I’ve heard cases of some women getting pregnant despite their bf/husband having a vasectomy. I also took plan b around February when I started going out with my boyfriend. I didn’t know he had a vasectomy so out of panic I took the pill. I had my period a week after I took it then missed my period for the whole month of March. I got it back April 17 and haven’t got my period ever since.
I’m just worried I don’t have my period yet. I’m not even getting cramps (and I usually do before my period). My discharges have been unusual too (sticky to watery etc…sorry for the excess info) but in usual amounts so I can’t tell if I’m ovulating or done with it. I don’t have clear pregnancy symptoms either…but I have been getting some mild lower back pain, some bloating and mild nausea sometimes, and some dizziness but could be from acidity, anxiety, anemia or hopefully PMS…my boobs are not sore either so I can’t really tell.
I took a test every week starting May 19. all four tests came out negative. Yesterday The doctor gave me another urine test, which came out negative and said i should wait it out some more.
