To put a long story short… I’m 20 weeks pregnant, keep having panic attacks and just want relief!
I’d like to know how to prevent them, but the problem with that is that I’m not sure what triggers them! They pretty much come out of no where. I don’t think I’ve met anyone else that has random panic attacks, is this common?
I’ve had anxiety/panic disorder for about five years, so it’s nothing new.

Pregnancy is a time of amazing joy. A woman bringing life into the world. You pick out baby furniture, paint the room and begin setting it up. Clothes that always seemed small and darling will be what your child will be wearing. You gain weight slowly and get to see the baby on an ultrasound. However, for many women, the joy of child birth can bring panic attacks too. So how does a pregnant woman deal with panic attacks?
Well, to be honest, the attacks can happen before the woman decides to get pregnant and after she has the baby in post partum depression. It is noted that six percent of women who do develop panic disorder get it after the child is born. However, both points are still being studied on.

Anxiety during pregnancy is a very common feeling during the all 9 months. Even when a baby is very much wanted, pregnancy is a time when women experience a whole variety of emotions, one of the most prominent of which is anxiety. Women who have had problems in conceiving a baby may be extremely anxious about whether they will be able to hold on to this pregnancy.
Women who have had previous miscarriages are fearful until they are well beyond the last date at which they previously lost a baby. You may feel frightened all the time because of your previous miscarriage or miscarriages, and you may feel worried about whether you are going to have another miscarriage or not. So previous miscarriages can cause mixed reactions with your current or future pregnancies.

When a woman is pregnant her body goes through many different changes. Many of these changes are related to hormones. Hormones can cause the body to react differently to many different situations. One problem that many women face is panic attacks during pregnancy. This is not a serious problem if you take recognize and take charge of these attacks as soon as they happen.
If you are a person that already suffers from panic attacks then you will know what you are dealing with. Panic attacks during pregnancy may appear more often because of the hormonal changes you are experiencing. Please be honest, did it affect the child’s brain, physical and mental health?
Did it give you any added problems after the pregnancy?
I have a friend who’s sister was very stressed during pregnancy and afterwards she got brain tumor. I get to worried when I think of her. Could it be hormones during pregnancy that reacted with stress and she got sick?
