Did you go through depression trough out your pregnancy and got PPD afterwards?

For the last month, any time my fiance and I attempt to have sex, it triggers a panic attack in me, sex normally doesn’t do that to me but, for some reason, it has been for the last month (I’m 8 months pregnant). Has anyone ever heard of this happening before?

(I get panic attacks from time to time without having sex even when not pregnant, but it seems that, for the last month having sex is triggering the panic attacks)
It’s just, for some reason I keep feeling trapped during sex though my fiance is very careful not to put any weight on me…it’s odd, sex has never made me feel trapped before….the “trapped” feeling always caused a panic attack in my though.
It always my idea to try having sex, not his, I want it , my body wants it, but halfway through, I start feeling trapped…..it’s so frustrating….
Please stop saying “enjoy the baby” and “after the baby is born you won’t have time/energy” The child is going to another family, we are giving them up for adoption, please, you guys saying that kind of hurts….

that is considered safe?

ok i suffer from anxiety.. maybe someone out there can help ease this a bit… Would you know if you had one during pregnancy? are they common? is it more of a hereditary thing? and can you get one from a vaginal birth?

Im just freaked after I read a story of a lady dying from one after a c-section, any help is appreciated!

Sometimes I get to thinking (worrying) about the pregnancy and the baby that my heart starts beating quickly and I feel panicky. Does anyone else feel this way sometimes?

I feel so depressed. I am so lonely. I worry a lot about if my baby will be ok because I’ve had a previous miscarriage and have been in the hospital for heavy bleeding twice already for this pregnancy. I feel very unattractive and I always tell my boyfriend he is prbly cheating bc he stays gone so long and I feel so lonely. Then we fight and I am afraid he will leave me. Is there anything I can do? Can the doctor do anything about this?

I have Panic Disorder and recently I have been having terrible panic attacks. There is a huge amount of stress in my life and I cannot seem to eliminate these panic attacks. I have been hospitalized in the past for some when they get too much to control with my prescriptions. I have been taking my pills on time and I have Klonapin that the doctor has okayed to use as needed. I am feeling the creepings of one starting and I’m afraid I am losing control.

Are there any injections or medications they can give me in the hospital that will not injure my baby, or do anything but make him sleepy? I usually receive Haldol.

i have a 15 month old at home and is unemployed and 10 weeks pregnant. i took prozac and wellbutrin and was told to stop the welbutrin and continue the prozac. i have not yet started back on prozac cause im kinda nervous. My heart races and i get really dizzy blurred vission , and ive even fainted a couple times. I really need help any suggestions?

Husbands grandfather just died, I have 2 kids now, pregnant about 8 weeks, lots of stress and problems with anxiety. Started spotting, no tissue or not heavy just spotting. I am seeing a DR in the morning or earlier if I develop pain or heavier bleeding, just curious to know if anyone has ever heard of the stress or anxiety to cause bleeding in pregnancy?!!?!?!?!

Hi All… im currently 31 weeks pregnant, ive always been a pretty anxious person, but ive been able to manage it pretty well. But lately ive just been consumed about blood clots. Im not really sure why, but im scared I would get one and not know it. So i figure i would come on here and get some support… So here are my questions

would i know if i got one during my pregnancy?
Should i be concerned about it, ive spoken to my Dr. and they are not concerned.
Is it mostly hereditary?
What can i do to help this dear?
