Question by Name: Pregnancy symptoms 5 days after sex?
I lost my virginity about 5 days ago, and a couple of days later I had cramping. He wasn’t wearing a condom a couple of times, but he was the other times, and he didn’t ejaculate in me (also he said that he’s sterile). I’ve been having hot flashes today. Is it most likely tiredness, anxiety, or pregnancy? When can I take a pregnancy test if I usually get my period around the 12th?
I’m kind of nauseated, too.
Could it be signs of an STD?

Best answer:

Article by Gerard Holden

Are vaginal infections one thing to fear? Not that we know of if you mean are you able to die from one? Nonetheless, depending on the sort of infection, the stage it reaches and any complications if included then chances are the problem can reach a stage where it’ is classed an increasingly serious issue. It is generally the complications that turn up in an illness that give cause for worry. Some complications could be prevented if medical treatment is wanted immediately

Leaving a health matter to fester can make it more difficult to treat. Typical medications and treatments used for treating common vaginal infections will be useful if the infection is allowed to continue damaging the entire body.

If you suspect some thing is not right close to your vagina talk in your GP. An infection is best treated in its earlier stage, than it was in an advanced stage.

Why is it when we all believe what rumour means (hearsay) however we still believe them? You are not to believe all you hear because it will only stress people out. Some girls believe the rumour that each vaginal infections badly damage the vagina to a point where child showing days are over, while this is true, it only ever comes about in unique cases involving certain infections which may have furthered into an additional stage and likely difficulties happened.

To put your mind at rest most vaginal concerns are treatable and treatable

What stage is the infection at?

Yeast infection pertains to your sickness circulated because of a fungus generally in and across the vaginal region. This specific sort of infection is commonly related to stinging, itching or irritation. It is the second most frequent sort of vaginal disease. Yeast infection can happen through oral contraceptives, diabetes as well as pregnancy, and high carbs intake. Other triggers proposed are toxic stimulants similar to cleansers and washing powdered, and various other linked products. Signs to say a candida albicans may be present are vaginal irritation, vaginal irritated, a burning sensation any time weeing; painful sex; white-colored vaginal discharge; anal irritated; redness, cracking/splitting or puffiness on skin.

Candida is yeast already sited by the body processes. And if this becomes imbalanced then it could possibly cause problems. The bacteria can grow out of control and take over microbes. Candida can locate itself inside intestinal tract, mouth, neck and genitals. If it works its way into the bloodstream it can make holes inside intestinal tract. This bacterial yeast infection consists of five stages.

Candida Infection Stage 1

Within this stage, mucous membranes like the mouth, vagina, and nose contain the bacterial yeast developing within. It can also grow inside the respiratory system here In females, severe menstrual cramps, heavy bleeding, vaginal infections and rashes that cover a smaller or large section with the body are known. Their early stage is a vital the perfect time to work to destroy the actual flora, which allows Candida to grow systems.

Candida Infection Stage 2

This is when you are likely to feel pain in this muscles and joints, fatigue, suffer from nail infections, and also psoriasis or arthritis.

Thrush Infection Stage 3

Stage three includes the sensory system. Candida may become harder to treat as time goes on. It often starts with all the inability to contract or perhaps read a book or watch a film. It can develop and cause dilemma, forgetfulness, and on a more serious note, memory loss. Not in all sufferers, but trouble with sleeping, fear, panic attacks, twitches, assault, epilepsy and seizures, together with aggression are other indicators.

Candida Infection Stage 5

The fourth stage begins to close down the particular processes of body bodily organs and makes them more at risk of infection. Fever can happen, while hands and toes usually remain cold. If the yeast provides reached the lungs it can be hard to speak. Over the fourth stage, the immunity process can weaken leaving one’s body vulnerable

Candida Infection Phase 5

Candida stage 5 can be quite a life threatening time. Death can occur if the yeast takes hold and shuts down the body’s defence mechanism, preventing organs functioning adequately If Candida sites itself within the bloodstream things can get pretty serious to the patient. “Sepsis” is the concern should the yeast is in the bloodstream. What is Sepsis? It is a condition where the liver becomes inflamed. Sepsis is usually treated with IV essential fluids, antibiotics, and close overseeing of organ function. Do not let it get to this stage and act quickly, as it might just keep your life.

Treatment of Yeast

Stage 5 is scary to mention the least, and for this reason treating Candida early is necessary. Seek treatment immediately therefore the bacteria do not overrun the entire body. Candida is normally cared for with prescription antibiotics with its beginning. As with lots of conditions, treatments may range. Candida in some patients may need anti-fungal topical ointments intended for body rashes. If you ignore the infection you may end up as a good inpatient in hospital where IV medication might be necessary to cleanse our bodies from infection.

I have been going through extreme anxiety symtoms during and after my chemical pregnancy…I would like to know what is happening to me. I will just be laying in bed and I freak out for no reason, my body feels heavy and my head just gets numb and feels as if it would float to the ceiling if it wasn’t attatched too my body. Everywhere on my body is extremely hot but my face has cold chills. I was upset about the c/p so I was researching on it and then searching the symptoms I was having…I read that there are over 100 symptoms and I was experiencing most of them or have experienced before. I bet I have had 80 percent of the symptoms.

What is going on with me?
This would also explain my extreme shyness and I never ever want to go in anywhere public, I feel as if everyone was staring at me. I’m scared of what people think of me…this is messing with my life. I dropped out of highschool….I can’t get a job…couldn’t make it through an interview w/o crying. After the c/m it has been very bad every night.
What can I do?
What causes it?

Thanks

Although, having a baby is a breathtaking journey for any woman, after continuing nine months of pregnancy’s varying symptoms, including enormous pregnancy weight gain, it’s natural that first thing that struck your mind is find means for losing weight after pregnancy as soon as possible. However, don’t be too impatient. Life after giving birth is full of new pleasant and unpleasant surprises, which can cut across your plans to lose weight.

Weight gain during pregnancy period is healthy and natural, but many women crave to return to their pre-pregnancy bodies. The average weight gain during pregnancy is between 25 to 35 pounds. During the birth, new moms shed about 12.5 to 14 pound, leaving 12 to 21 pounds of excess weight to be lost during the postpartum period. Just as it is best to put on weight slowly and steadily during your pregnancy, you need to be slow and steady in losing weight after pregnancy. Here are some weight loss tips for getting yourself back into shape:

Drink at least 10-12 glasses of water every day. Replace your high sugar, high calorie drinks like colas and juices, with lukewarm water, and a squeeze of lemon in it.
Say no to junk food and keep your healthy snacks, such as nuts, crackers, and fruits handy. Also, avoid readymade tinned foods.
An average weight woman requires approximately 2500 to 2800 kcal/day during lactation. The diet you take should be balanced, rich in proteins, vitamins, minerals, and carbohydrates. You should take adequate amount of milk. Iron and calcium supplements maybe taken if required.
Breastfeeding helps in losing weight after pregnancy. Nursing babies uses about 1000 calories per day, so breastfeeding is one of the most efficient ways to make sure that the extra body fat and water added during pregnancy are transferred to your baby.
Exercise is one of the best resorts for weight loss after pregnancy. Exercise will help you lose those extra pounds put on during pregnancy, ease post-partum depression and unlike dieting, it won’t harm your baby, if you are nursing. It is important that you go slowly with your exercising schedule. Wait at least six weeks after your delivery. 10 minute exercises should be started with and then increased when feel more comfortable. Try to do only low-impact exercises like walking, swimming, or yoga. Come up with your individual exercise program – derive one you can stick to – and try to find a companion in your friend or a new mum like you. Stop immediately, if you are short of breath or feel dizzy.

As somebody rightly stated “nine months on, nine months off” for losing weight after pregnancy. Do not be impatient to lose weight quickly, as you took nine months to gain that. Pregnancy and weight gain are like peas and carrots – they go hand in hand and it is healthy for you. Therefore, when trying to lose those pregnancy pounds, be sensible and do not entertain extremes: no junk food and no celebrity diets. Balanced diet full of nutrition, coupled with exercise is the safest and healthiest way to get back to your pre-pregnancy shape.

Well you can now stop worrying about all those extra pounds that you will put on during pregnancy. New generation moms can easily get back their pre-pregnancy figure within a year.. With the right daily regime, workouts and a good diet; now getting pregnant does not mean getting fat.

However the right diet does not mean that you start dieting right after you deliver. Whether or not you are breast feeding, the first few months you should concentrate on nourishing yourself through a proper diet. You can start exercising along with a good diet intake. After a couple of months, your body returns to its normal level and then you can start your loosing weight. You can take weight loss tips from new moms who have lost weight after pregnancy.

How Many Months Before I Return To My Normal Weight?

Weight gain during nine months is in the normal limits (20 – 30 pounds) then you should be able to lose weight in less than a year. This process takes time but ensures that your weight loss is at the right pace and safe. Post pregnancy period usually leaves the new moms low on self esteem. Some would be still coping with massive weight gain; some would constantly worry about milk stains on their clothes. Many women might not get enough time to take even a proper bath. Women do tend to get depressed for these reasons and do not know how cope with the change in their life. Many women constantly worry about sex after long nine months. They do not feel very comfortable indulging in intercourse as their body is out of shape.

These problems can be easily dealt with if you work towards your goal with a healthy weight loss regime. Pregnancy weight loss should be planned in consultation with your doctor. You should also keep in mind your physical condition before making a diet or exercise plan.

Exercising Helps

As a balanced diet plays a vital role in weight loss, exercise also plays a major part. Exercising however should not be started without the doctor’s consultation.

Exercise helps in post pregnancy weight loss. It also helps to increase your self confidence and lends you a hand if you are dealing with depression. Exercising affects breast milk is a myth and you should not bother about it.

Weight Loss Through Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding also helps moms’ lose weight. Breast feeding releases hormones which help your body to return to its normal level which in turn helps you regain your normal weight.
Breastfeeding is not a fool-proof method of weight loss after pregnancy. In most cases, women start losing weight only after they stop breast feeding.
Also relying on breast feeding may make you careless towards your diet and workout routine.
You can go on a low fat diet even if you are breast-feeding. Do ensure that you are taking at least 1800-2000 calories per day.

Remember that your body has gone through a lot of strain and changes. Post pregnancy care is very important for your body to heal and also to ensure weight loss after pregnancy.

Pregnant women generally suffer from anxiety and tension. They have endless questions in their mind. Some of the questions they do ask their doctors and some are too personal; these keep hovering in their mind endlessly.

Sleepless nights are common. Queries about their body, especially about the baby trouble them now and then to such an extent that they end up panic-stricken. Putting up with morning sickness and associated pregnancy problems for nine months, and then going through painful delivery- women get simply drained out of their energy and patience. Loving and caring the new born is said to come naturally to the mothers. But in certain cases new mothers fail to get stabilized with the changes in their life.

The major problem – post pregnancy response

You must realize that a new life has come to the earth and you have been an active participant in creating it. Your child is incapable of doing thing on its own. It needs your milk but most importantly it requires your warmth and affection. This world of brightness is alien to the little one. It begs for your generous guidance to live on. Its present surrounding is diametrically opposite to the dark and cozy chamber of your womb. Do not indulge in too much of thoughtfulness. Socialize to divert your mind from disturbing reflections. In several cases it is seen that due to post pregnancy response relationships get a jolt.

Never vent out your confused anger on your family members. Your irritation can even sprout out when your family members start getting involved with your child. Control yourself; all they do is simple playing with the new arrived bundle of joy. Continue having those friendly conversations with your husband. Pamper your child but do not, under any circumstance, make your husband feel left out. A peaceful family is all that your child demands from you.

Gaining weight during pregnancy is a common occurrence to moms. Don’t get too discouraged. Losing weight after baby is not impossible. Begin a healthy diet to work towards your goal to achieve a healthy weight loss after pregnancy. Here are some tips you can lose weight after pregnancy that you will find them useful.

1. Eat sensibly

The weight you have gained throughout the pregnancy period took 9 months to accumulate. Don’t expect it to vanish just like that. So give yourself some time, to understand the procedure of weight loss and to let the measures work upon you. Eventually you will lose weight. Eating a well balanced diet has been one of the success factors for weight loss after pregnancy. Basically, you can follow these simple and effective points:

a. Eat small meals 5-6 times in a day.
b. Take mid-morning snacks.

c. Start eating more leafy greens and fibrous fruits.
d. Cut out deep fried and processed foods as much as you can.
e. Cut down or eliminate alcohol intake.
f. Avoid empty-calorie-foods like sugars and ice-cream as far as possible.
g. Concentrate on more of protein, vitamin and mineral rich food instead of calorie dense food.
h. Drink lots of water. Avoid sodas as they are filled with lots of calories.

2. Exercise

Exercise is a vital component of weight loss after pregnancy. Most pregnant women experience postpartum depression after giving birth. Exercising will be one of the key to be able to beat this depression. Try these exercises,

a. jogging
b.swimming
c. yoga

d. cycling
e. even taking the stairs instead of the elevator counts.

Meanwhile, you can choose to do some light exercises like walking, stretching and breathing exercises. Select your ideal physical activities you may enjoy with your family or with friends. You can also work-out in the privacy of your home and according to your own time schedule. This will help in weight loss after pregnancy according to individual lifestyle. Be conscious of any discomfort when you are working out. If you feel dizzy, stop the exercise and relax. Never push yourself in exercising after giving birth.

New moms should learn to be patient and determined in losing the weight after pregnancy. The balance between the right diet, right activities, and the right amount of rest can be achieved. Never overdo your exercises as your health is of utmost importance. Don’t do on a diet which will rob you off the nutrients.

Though most people may be relatively familiar with what depression is, most people are unlikely unaware of how significant of a problem depression is. In the United States alone, statistics indicate one of every five people is depressed. When that percentage is expanded, the result is millions and millions of depressed people. In itself that’s a cause for alarm, but what may be even more of a concern is that most depressed people in the US never get treatment. That equates to lots of pain, and lots of productivity lost.

During considerations of dealing with depression, it makes sense to consider whether certain segments of society are more prone to depression than others. It was long believed that women were most prone to depression, but in recent times this thinking has been reconsidered. The fact of the matter is, not only do men get depression but men are more likely to commit suicide because of depression than women are. Looking at depression as purely a gender issue then is not only inaccurate but may also lead to dire consequences in outreach efforts.

It’s important then to be clear that men can and do get depressed, and that treatment for depressed men is available. It is true however that women are most likely to report feeling depressed, and that depression in women who’ve recently given birth may be especially significant. Depression in women after childbirth is common enough that it has its own terminology: depression following childbirth is typically known as postpartum depression, but can be referred to as perinatal depression as well.

Postpartum depression is not a particularly complicated condition: it’s a case of depression in a woman who’s recently given birth. The uncertainty with postpartum depression is why it occurs in the first place. Carrying a child over the course of nine months is a terrific responsibility, and that responsibility in itself can lead to stress and feelings of depression. A woman who feels a lack of support following childbirth can also understandably become depressed. It’s believed as well that there may be a hormonal aspect to postpartum depression: hormonal balance in a woman rises greatly during pregnancy, and then drops back to normal within twenty-four hours of giving birth. What would be surprising is if this swing in hormone balance didn’t have any effect on mood at all.

While it’s certainly true that not every woman who gives birth becomes depressed afterward, it happens often enough that it’s something to be aware of. The positive with respect to postpartum depression is that it usually clears without intervention; and in the event it doesn’t clear without intervention, effective treatments are there to be had.

I am now 23 weeks pregnant and only discovered my pregnancy at the end of the first trimester. I am afraid I wasn’t very kind to my body during my first trimester. I was under an abnormal amount of stress, with frequent panic attacks, horrible eating habits, I smoked alot of pot, dyed my hair, and really just overworked myself. This all kept me from paying any attention to the fact that my body was growing a baby. I even chalked the nausea up to the fact that I was just mentally exhausted. Once I realized I was pregnant, I let go of the stress and tried to take care. I just had my first ultrasound and the baby “looks” healthy, but I am so scared I have hurt this little one in ways I can’t see. I will see the doctor again soon, but I wondered if anyone out there can relate to my situation.

Congratulations, you just brought your new bundle of joy home. No doubt this moment is one of the most miraculous events to have occurred in your life. Lots of new changes, new sounds, and new routines are forming in your household. More things need to be attended to and there seems little time to spare. So how can I find time to Get Fit After Pregnancy?

If you exercised before and during your pregnancy you will be able to start an exercise routine faster (maybe 2 months after giving birth) but for a mother that wasn’t a big exerciser prior to her pregnancy maybe about 3 months or when your doctor gives you the go ahead to start your Get Fit After Pregnancy program.

Be sure to discuss any plans that you may have to start exercising after your pregnancy with your doctor. One of the biggest concerns you should have is whether or not you suffered diastasis (separation) of your abdominal muscles. Your doctor will be able to tell if this has happened to you. Overdoing it with your Get Fit After Pregnancy routine or starting any exercise too early could exacerbate this condition.

Mat-based Pilates exercises can be performed easily at home and are a great way to get back in shape. Pilates exercises target the muscles affected by pregnancy. “All of the exercises focus on strengthening the abdominals, the pelvic floor muscles, and the back,” explains Elizabeth Larkam, director of Pilates and Beyond at Western Athletic Clubs. “And since deep breathing is central to all of the exercises, it’s very relaxing as well.”

You can do this work out designed by Larkum in about 20 minutes. These moves should be performed at a slow to moderate pace because this workout focuses on muscle control. These exercises take time to get used to so don’t worry if you aren’t accomplishing much right away. You’ll need and exercise mat and some comfortable clothing to get the most out of your Get Fit After Pregnancy workout.

Breathing Technique

This exercise is the basis of all Pilates moves. Focus on breathing this way throughout each exercise — it will help you concentrate on the muscles you’re working. Lie on your back with your knees bent and the soles of your feet on the floor. Place your palms on your lower abdominals with the heels of your hands resting on your hip bones. Inhale deeply, letting your belly rise, and imagine filling your lungs completely. Then exhale, contracting your abs and pulling your navel towards your spine, and contracting your pelvic muscles as if you were trying to stop urine flow. Repeat eight times. (This exercise can be performed lying on your side during pregnancy.)

Swimming

This move strengthens the back muscles. Lie on your stomach with your legs straight and your arms extended over your head. Inhale and then as you exhale, contract your abs and stretch your right arm and left leg away from your body without raising them. Then inhale, releasing the stretch but keeping your abs contracted. Repeat on the other side. To make this move tougher, lift your limbs two inches off the floor as you stretch, quickening the pace as you switch sides, in a swimming motion. Do three sets of eight repetitions.

Side Kicks

This exercise works the legs, hips, and abdominal muscles. Lie on your left side, head resting on your left arm. Bend your right arm and rest it in front of your torso to keep your weight supported. Bend your knees so that your body’s in the position of a chair on its side. On the inhale, pull your right leg forward (keeping your knee bent). Then exhale, moving your right leg behind you (knee still bent), stretching your hip flexors. Do eight times, then repeat with the other leg. (This can be done during pregnancy.)

Leg Circles

This move strengthens abs. Lie on your back; knees bent to your chest, and hold your shins. Inhale and use your hands to guide your knees open toward your shoulders. Exhale, contract abs and move knees outward and down (as though along the edges of a circle) until they meet. Do two sets of eight circles.

Along with your exercises be sure to have a good diet plan that will help you Get Fit After Pregnancy at a healthy pace while assuring that you eat quality foods that will allow you to maintain the stamina required to keep up with your baby.

Strip That Fat is the premier weight loss program that allows you to Get Fit After Pregnancy. Be sure to follow your doctor’s advice and discuss the amount of calories that you will require especially if you are breast feeding. So take it one step at a time and focus on taking care of yourself and your baby.

Postpartum weight loss is a hot button issue with new mothers. Along with the new stresses associated with taking care of a new baby, the mental anxiety of looking at yourself in the mirror can cause much undue stress. Pilates can help you Get Fit After Pregnancy.

Hello, I am now 32 weeks pregnant (planned). At about 28 weeks, anxiety kicked in with a few panic attacks and loss of sleep. I am on Ambien now (which is completely safe for baby) and it gets me through the nights. However, I am feeling anxious all day still. I feel like I need to constantly be busy because I get so anxious just sitting/lying down. I can’t just relax my mind. I have trouble napping or just enjoying peace and quiet. MY QUESTION IS: Will this pregnancy induced anxiety go away after the birth of the baby? I have heard that hormones can cause this, so will I go back to normal later, assuming I won’t be post-partum? Experience? Thoughts?
I am not necessarily anxious about the baby as much as anxious about anxiety and feeling wierd. I hate it. Hope that makes sense.

The care given after pregnancy is very important for any new mother. Women are usually advised to stay at home to let their body heal by itself. At home you will have your family and close relatives to take care of your needs. You are advised to stay at home for at least a period of six weeks after child birth. You should give this time to your body to recuperate and bounce back. Working mothers find it difficult to spare this time. So, it is necessary for them to plan their maternal leave keeping this time frame in mind.

Why is care given?

After pregnancy care is given to new mothers to:

Detect any kind of infection or hemorrhage
Reduce chances of baby infections or disorders
Give a better understanding about nutrition, child care, breastfeeding and other necessary guidelines related to care for self and the baby
Counsel on family planning

Care is also rendered to the umbilical cord. Your baby, when it was in the womb received its nourishment through the umbilical cord. This cord after delivery turns into a purplish blue stub. The stub which is about half or one inch in length takes close to 2-8 weeks to dry and fall off. It is necessary to prevent infection to this stub. The area should always be kept dry and clean. Only sponge bath is given during such time. The stub when it dries will fall off on its own and the place will heal automatically. Do consult your doctor if you suspect any bleeding or pus formation in that area. This could be due to an infection.

Depression

Some women after child birth undergo depression. This depressed state makes the women sad and moody. They like to be left alone and find the company of people a nuisance. Some women have a combination of depression, anxiety and a sense of panic. They consider themselves a burden to the family and neglect their work. They show no interest in anything and this can even adversely affect the care for the baby.

Another common post pregnancy symptom is baby blues. This sign can be seen as early as 4-5 days after delivery. These women are irritable and impatient, restless, suffer from insomnia, fatigue, feel low, sad, cry for no reason and have poor concentration on anything around them. Baby blues is said to last for few hours every day and may last from any time between 10 days to several months. If it prolongs for too long, it is advisable to consult a doctor.

New mothers can alleviate such symptoms by

Talking to the people around
Listening to music
Doing activities that they enjoy
Never sitting alone
Trying to think positively at all times
Keeping a smiling face

Care given to women after pregnancy will ensure a healthy mother as well as a healthy baby. There will be lot of cheer and happiness in the family. Never delay if you suspect a symptom. Attend to the problem before it aggravates. Keep your mind free from negative thoughts and you will see life in a beautiful way.

Strange but true, some women need extra attention after pregnancy. In general, care given after pregnancy is important for the good health of the mother and the child. But sometimes women undergo depression or baby blues. Such women need to be treated with tender love and care.
