If you are watching your weight after you conceive, you are probably wondering not only what to eat during pregnancy, but how to satisfy your sweet tooth. Obviously you are swearing off sugar if you want to keep your weight within the recommended weight gain range (between 20 and 30 pounds over the course of your pregnancy). Pregnancy is supposed to be a time of joy and happiness for women. It is something that most women who haven’t yet experienced it, look forward to with awe – some with dread. It is an experience that cannot be aptly described using words; it simply should be experienced to understand it. Unfortunately it also comes with more than its fair share of travails. One of those travails happen to be pregnancy constipation – an uncomfortable, and often time, unbearable condition that plagues many pregnant women in the world today. This article will look at three natural ways to remedy pregnancy constipation beginning today…

1. Increase Your Ingestion Of Fibre…Food that contain high quantities of fibre are great to eat during your pregnancy. An example of such a snack would be oatmeal cookies. These are very effective in the eradication of constipation. In fact oatmeal cookies have also been known to help alleviate pregnancy anxiety and panic attacks. So, instead of eating all that fast “junk” food, or all those funky “movie snack”, go for foods that are rich in nutrients like these. You should also form the habit of taking a lot of fruits too like; apples, bananas and so on. While this may sound simple to some, you must realize that as humans we are more prone to defaulting on the simple stuff.

In the past 9 years, I have had 3 normal pregnancies and healthy children. While the pregnancies were all normal and complication-free, I had all the different feelings going through both my mind and body. Between muscle and joint pain, there is also weight gain (in my case, this was quite substantial) causing physical discomfort. I never considered that there was any way of gaining some relief. I now know there is! It is a pregnancy massage. I recently discovered (maybe too late for me) that this is an option when pregnant, in most circumstances.

During pregnancy, we have normal feelings of stress, anxiety, even anxiety, as well as happiness and anticipation. Knowing there is a human being growing within us, we try extra hard to take care of ourselves, as well as the baby. However, some of these feelings can be relieved by a wonderful massage.

While Depression affects approximately sixteen percent of people in most developed countries, a surprising thirty percent of all women suffer from the symptoms of clinical depression. This is believed to be induced by the different hormonal changes women experience throughout their lives. There are many ways to cope with depression. While some people are satisfied with counseling and therapy others find it helpful seeking prescription drugs. Among one of the most commonly distributed antidepressants is Paxil.

Introduced and manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline in 1992, Paxil is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor. It works by balancing serotonin, a neurotransmitter that affects certain moods in people. The constant imbalance of hormones in woman brought on by puberty, menstruation, menopause and pregnancy, contributes to the astonishingly high rates of depression. Therefore, given that woman are twice more likely to suffer from depression than men, we are found with more woman seeking the help of prescription medication. While Paxil is known to treat depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, and premenstrual dsyphoric disorder, Paxil is no sure way of being relieved of all suffering.

When faced with having an anxiety attack, what to do next is uppermost in your mind. Anxiety attacks can be one of the most terrifying, distressing, and painful experiences a person can have. In trying to find a cure, the number one step is identifying the cause.

While there are no clear-cut causes, there does seem to be a relationship with life changes that hold special significance – getting married, graduating from college, having a baby, securing a first job. An attack can also be triggered by extreme stress such as a divorce, job loss, or death of a loved one.
